  • World Heart Day Celebration
    On occassion of World Heart Day celebrated across the globe on September 29 every year, students and faculty members in Index Institute of Nursing celebrated World Heart Day this year on the theme ”Share the Power”. Students and staff members organized various activities such as Street Plays, Awareness Walk etc…to spread the message of ” Healthy Heart, Healthy Life” among all. Dr.Naresh Godara, Professor in the Department of PSM, Index Institute of Medical Science & Research (PIMSR) conducted a guest lecture on the topic ” Healthy Heart” for students and staff members of Index Institute of Nursing. Further, around 60 persons living near the Kishanwadi Area of Vadodara City were screened for Hypertension in the Health Check-Up Drive conducted by the Faculty of Nursing on the World Heart Day.

  • Women’s Day Celebration
    Index Nursing College Indore University, celebrated Women’s Day on 8th March 2017 at Ishwarapura and Kamalapura. On this year Women’s Day theme was “Be Bold for The Change”. Looking to this theme, B.Sc Nursing students were performed Role-play in Government school at Ishwarapura and Kamalapura and along with faculty had given Health education regarding Personal hygiene and Menstrual hygiene for working women’s in both the villages.

  • World Maleria Day Celebration
    Department of Community Health Nursing, Index Institute of Nursing, Index university had Organized rally on the occasion of “ World Malaria Day’’ on 25th April at Madodhar village. This rally was organized in order to create awareness about cleanliness, distributed pamphlets and given health education on preventive and control measures of malaria in the village. B.Sc Nursing students and faculty were actively participated in this programme.
